First Aid – Appointed Person.
BASICS
Appointed Person First Aid training by UK Construction Training can be carried out either at our training
centre in London or, at any location of your choice nationwide (maximum 14 delegates per course).
Upon successful completion of the course each candidate will be awarded an appointed persons first aid
certificate under Health and Safety regulations (first aid) 1981 which will be valid for three years from the
date of issue
THE COURSE
The course duration is 1 day and starts between 8.00 and 9.00 a.m. and will finish at
approximately 3.00 – 3.30pm. This includes a break for lunch. All courses are fully accredited by
ITSSAR and are conducted by experienced and fully registered instructors.
The Appointed Person First Aid Training course will cover:
· Aims and Priorities of First Aid
· Dealing with an Emergency
· Causes and Treatment of the Unconscious Casualty
· CPR
· Heart Conditions
· Choking and Asphyxia
· Wounds and Bleeding
· Question and Answer Session
